HOW TO REINSTATE A NULL AND VOID FLORIDA BARBER LICENSE

Did you miss your barber license renewal deadline? Has your license now lapsed to null and void status? A license becomes “null and void” when a licensee fails to renew for two consecutive licensure cycles. However, you may qualify to reinstate your license if you failed to renew by the deadline due to health problems or financial hardship.

Application requirements include the following:

2-HOUR INITIAL HIV/AIDS COURSE
You must complete the 2-Hour Initial HIV/AIDS Course within two years prior to submitting your application. Take your 2-Hour Initial HIV/AIDS Course online now! Remember to submit the class completion certificate with your application.

ILLNESS OR ECONOMIC HARDSHIP STANDARD
To reinstate your license, you must show that you failed to renew your license because of illness or economic hardship. Details matter. Include all the facts that support your claim in your Application for License/ Registration from Null and Void Form # DBPR BAR 6

EXAMINATION
If your application is approved, you will NOT be required to re-take the Florida barber examination.

FEE
You must pay the required fee as provided in the application. However, military veterans, their spouses, and Florida National Guard members may be eligible for a fee waiver, fee reimbursement, and/or fee discount.

APPLICATION
You must complete the required application: Application for License/ Registration from Null and Void Form # DBPR BAR 6.
